Focus groups can be an efficient tool in your own decision making. But the process has to be documented in order to fulfil requirements from a public auditor. You must remember that the auditor has chosen your packaging because he/she believes that the packaging is over-packed.
Your documentation shall be able to prove to the authorities that you have evaluated the critical level of packaging material. Such documentation can be:
- Report of the group
- Invoice from the market research company
- Video recordings
- Etc.
Please remember in case of no agreement between you and the public auditor that your documentation shall be accepted in a court.
