We all know vibration during transport. But by tradition vibration has been underestimated as a damaging reason in distribution. Vibration is also difficult to calculate or predict. More packaging is not always helping you – and can even make the situation worse.
First we must look on the nature of vibration. The first illustration shows a harmonious sinus movement.
Vibration during transportation is not a harmonious vibration with a constant frequency and amplitude. In real life frequencies and amplitudes are added together into a complex movement.
