A product is measured on a shock tester in order to find the fragility to shocks.
The product is mounted on a thick plate and dropped against materials for absorbing shocks in different ways. The test equipment shall be able to produce short half sine shocks at 400-600 G at 1-3 m sec. and long trapezoid shocks of 40-150 G at 10-50 m sec.
