This TOOLBOX is only designed in order to help you in the process of the assessment of the packaging. You can only use the TOOLBOX after a general evaluation of the system in your company. For this reason please start using SYSTEM.
The TOOLBOX does not present assessment methods authorised in standardisation and you do not need to use any methods at all. You can just choose methods as convenient in your process.
This part is following the structure in the CEN standard for Packaging Prevention (EN13428) connected to the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive. The reader/user shall only use the chapter of packaging science in order to learn the theory behind possible optimisation methods, make his/hers own choice and give instruction to his/hers personal.
