OPTI-PACK is based on national projects in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The Danish project has been focusing on practical industrial methods for the documentation of the 6 CEN standards supporting the Packaging directive. The Swedish project has been focusing on management methods also for documentation of the Directive. And the Norwegian project has been working with benchmarking in order to optimise packaging.
OPTI-PACK will develop a Nordic method and all 5 Scandinavian countries will test the system in a large number of industries.
