04-3. Modular standardisation

The documentation of modular standardisation can be made as follows:

  • Estimate the limits for the product.
  • Estimate the needs for cushion and thickness of the cushion.
  • Evaluate possible dimensions for your package from different division of the basic module

  • Decide to use the minimal dimensions from the sheets
  • Write a report with drawings and/or photos of the decision process.

REMEMBER to withdraw a few millimetres between each package for packaging materials, swelling and/or displacement of packaging.
