Many companies have today developed own test programmes for simulation of own specific distribution systems. The test programmes are developed either after a study of own distribution environment or by de-design of institute programmes.
If a company is going to use performance testing for the demonstration of optimal packaging it is also important to demonstrate the quality of the test programme.
- Is the programme a product of a study of own distribution environment the company must write a report on the transformation from measurement data to a test programme. Such a report must be send to public or private auditors on demand together with test reports.
- Is the programme an institute programme or standardised the company must be able to document the origin of the used programmes.
- Is the test programme developed over time upgrading and downgrading from other programmes the company must be able to document the process. Such documentation must include damage statistics and the following decision making.
